Zombie Wedding and Zombie Yourself

Original Article by Hoob on Youbentmywookie.com

Another love of mine is Zombies.  Here we have a great wedding photo shoot inspired by Zombies.
The photos have a faint resemblence of a Godzilla movie.  Maybe the epic scream coming from a couple of asians reminds me.

I especially love the grounded, joint decaptation by the newlyweds.

Zombie Me  is another fun toy on the internet to play with. Fill out the info, upload a pic, and zombiefy yourself.  Be careful registering because you might get zombie spam.  Wait a second, zombie spam?  Watch out Hawaii.

Day of the Dead meets Star Wars

Original Article by Hugh Hart of Wired.com

You will learn that I love everything Star Wars.

This is way cool art.  My wife has slowly brought me to enjoy Day of the Dead art, although I still think it resembles transvestites too much, and transvestites are strange.

Comic Con had some cool inspired art like this years ago.  I remember specifically a pink Darth Vader helmet with 70's flowers on it.

An Alien Attack could end Global Warming?

Original Article by NewsCore

"Your Next, Your, Next!!"

Made famous by the late Kevin McCarthy.  He was great in UHF.

The article another attempt from Fox to instill fear into the susceptible, ignorant, malleable, and any other adjectival person watching or reading them.

Frankly, the "scientists" behind the article are full of s.  If they really think that Aliens would waste their time destroying us to save our planet, they have another thing coming.  If anything, Aliens would kill us, just to kill us.  Maybe they are bored or maybe they just don't like how often our styles change (thank you Zack Morris look-a-like as I left work yesterday).

By the way, in my opinion, Global Warming is a scam.  A good scam in some ways, GO GREEN-EAT LOCAL-RECYCLE-ETC., but a scam none the less.  Remember the last ice age?  I do, it was cold.  Then it warmed up again.  Then it got cold again.  This is all common knowledge stuff we started learning in 6th grade.  Its called cycling.  Currently, despite the droughts in Texas, we are in a cooling cycle.  Remember last winter?  New York City?  Yeah, that was f'ng cold.  The cooling cycle brings colder winters and longer winters.  Pay attention.

As the earth continues to rotate in life, it tilts on an axis.  That axis continues tilting throughout life.  The northern and southern hemispheres will cycle temperatures over time.  Why are we so surprised at this stuff?  Have we really gotten so comfortable in our arrogance that we actually think we are smarter than the planet, or physics, or God (considering you believe in god), or Aliens, or that magical energy at the edge of the galaxy that we yearn to believe is the origin of the universe?

All I'm saying is that I, along with at least my wife, believe that news is so sensational now that we have become a nation full of sally's that are too scared to leave our homes or even spend money.

Aliens will come.  They will be small, furry, super intelligent beings that communicate vocally and want to make peace.  After many years of friendship they will realize that we are too arrogant to change the way we are.  At that point they will sadly leave.  Communications will be open over a subspace transmission, but they will for all intense and purposes leave us.

We cant even be friends with each other.  Canadians don't even like us.  They are the most passive people around.  And our neighbors.

Indiana Jones Map

This is so cool. I don't care what anybody says, the last Indi film was fun to watch. It had all the elements of a great action super hero-esque movie. I loved it, I loved the games, and here is something else Indi that I love.

TDKR -- Work In Progress?

Obviously, this is something new to me so, hopefully I keep it up.
.........................................
That's what she said!

I read so many stories throughout the day from various news sources, mainly movie news, reviews, spoilers, etc. , and the recent explosion of behind the scenes information regarding The Dark Knight Rises is bothering me a little too much.

You see only a few years ago, even, behind the scenes spoilers were still few and spread out. Maybe it was security or maybe it was the lack of smart phones, but we weren't smothered with pics and videos like we are now.

I am of the type that no matter what spoilers, pics, or videos that are released a movie is not ruined for me. I can still go into a movie and either enjoy it or hate it based on the movie in its entirety. So for me all the content doesn't really get to me. Its just the fact that people are posting all this stuff and no one is stopping them that bothers me.

I feel that in film making there should be a shroud of mystery hiding behind the production. So far we have seen exactly what Bane looks like, mostly what Catwoman looks like, and exactly (albeit only slightly changed) what Batsy looks like. Bane looks very very, hmmm, strange to me? They are not going with the comic look at all. I hope they at least make him a professional wrestler. And his voice! Please do post voice work. I laughed when I heard that. By the way WB, how can you deliberately release a photo of him with some fans (from the day shooting at the steelers football field). Where is the mystery? Joker was almost a complete mystery aside from the black and white teaser photo released. That is another reason TDK was so great. Mystery!

Looking at the stills and videos, and my knowledge of the comic that inspired the film, I can come up with what the movie will probably be like. The story and structure do not deviate from the heroes quest, so its easy to fill in the blanks with characters, locations, and sequence of events. That said, the story I have seems rushed and rehashed from the first movie. We know Ra's daughter is in the movie. But why? Why bring the dead back to life? Why not just continue to move on and rap the story up?

Mike Hacker and I came up with a brilliant story, that still had the Joker and Two Face in it.
--A copycat thief is on a spree of bank robbery's. At each robbery another clue rapped in a green and purple present, with and question mark is left behind. Inside is another cryptic message or riddle, that is directed towards Batsy. Gordon goes to Arkham where Joker is now housed and questions him. Insert several never before released shots and/or audio with a figure in the darkness of the Joker. His information gives Gordon a leg to stand on and cue the investigation. Is it the Joker organizing revenge using the Riddler? Because Bats is now Gotham's most wanted will he be able to redeem himself for the White Knights death by stopping Riddler? Is the White Knight dead? Who is the Riddler, Rachel's brother, Joker's relative, a completely unacquainted baddy? The movie itself could be this wrapped Riddle that doesn't unravel until the end. Finally, it would be called "The Two Faces".

Sorry Mike, I hope I didn't ruin and/or leave anything out. Its been several years.

I just don't want to see the Comic book trilogy trend happen to TDKR. That's where the third movie in a comic series suck royal donkey balls. Remember Spiderman 3? Okay enough said. I apologize for the expletive.

That is my Screen Rant, please send me a comment if you wish.
